Best demi permanent hair dye for black hair?

If your hair is black there is no way to go red with the demi-permanent without first bleaching your hair. You may be able to put something like raw over your hair and see a slight red tint when out in the sun but even that is highly unlikely. If you want to go lighter or brighter with a demi or semi permanent you will have to bleach it first.
