Are Ligers more docile than tigers and lions?

One would think that just the opposite would occur, due to what is termed Hybrid Vigour, similar to the cross of Brahman & Hereford to produce Brafords, Brahman & Aberdeen Angus for Brangus or the creation of our Droughtmaster Breed, where aggression is usually accentuated.
