Why are corn snakes the most popular pet snakes for beginners?

why are they like the "top main" #1 pet snake for beginners? It's like every time i see something posted by somebody on here who is getting ready to be a first time pet snake owner, people always say "get a corn snake or ball python" but why are corn snakes and ball pythons more popular as pet snakes for beginners than milksnakes, kingsnakes, and garter snakes, i mean these snakes make great beginners snakes as well and so do red-tail boas because their so docile of the larger snakes and easy to care for but my question is: "why are corn snakes and ball pythons the most popular pet snakes for beginners" well mostly corn snakes, can somebody please give me an explanation?
