Would a Cayuga duck be a good duck for a first time duck owner?

Cayugas are a great breed & one that we considered for ourselves, instead we went with Pekins & Indian Runners. I've read that they're docile & a quieter breed (second only to Muscovies), but that they can sometimes be a little shy.
