How do I graph a piecewise limit and find complicated limits?
Domain are x-values, range is the y-values. They are just terminology, so you shouldn't get put off by it. Find some examples to follow. The link below can help. Anyways limits is when the function (equation) approaches to a number or infinity, what would the value be. So every time you see the word "limit", you will need to substitute a value close to the given number and see where it goes. E.g find the limit when x --> 4, so you should use 3.9 and see where it takes you. Plotting the graph is a matter of finding the coordinates. Sorry it is a bit hard to explain using words, you may be better off asking your teacher. Hopes this clarify some stuff. You can email me if you need any math help in future.
