Can i put 2 ball pythons in the same tank?

I have a male ball python that is about 9 months old or so and is around 2 and a half feet. I'm adopting another adult ball python that is about 3 feet and is also a male (very docile). I was wondering if they can go into the same tank, or do they need to be separate?
